New: Traveling outside the U.S. over Summer
Are you traveling outside the U.S. over the summer? If the signature on your I-20 or DS-2019 will be more than 12 months old (6 months old if you are on OPT) on the day you will return to the U.S., bring your I-20 or DS-2019 to 3248 Memorial Union for Travel Signature Day on Thursday, May 1st between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. We’ll sign your documents while you wait. Our regular three-day turnaround for travel signatures will resume on Friday, May 2nd. We will hold a second Travel Signature Day on May 12th.
Have questions about international travel or need a refresher before you go? Bring your I-20 or DS-2019 to our travel presentation at 5:00 p.m. on May 1st in Room 3512 Memorial Union. We’ll update you on the latest travel process and sign your documents while you enjoy the presentation. The travel presentation will be repeated on May 12th at 1:30 in Room 3512 Memorial Union
Reminder: You don’t need a fresh signature on your I-20 or DS-2019 unless you are traveling outside the U.S. and will return.
Important information regarding I-94 Card
Beginning Tuesday, April 30th, the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) introduced a new electronic I-94 card system. Read more information about it here.
